  • What are the latest trends in interior design?
2023 is set to bring an abundance of exciting interior design trends. One of the most highly anticipated trends is focusing on how spaces affect people's moods and attitudes. Beyond aesthetics, wellness design emphasizes self-care and healthier living through a mindful design approach. Natural materials such as bamboo, cork, sisal and wood will be used to create beautiful textures and bring the outdoors in with biophilic design. Clean lines and simple shapes will be favored over intricate decorations, while sustainable design choices will be integral to the look. There is an increased interest in creating multifunctional spaces, making the most of any space. Color palettes will draw on muted tones inspired by nature, creating a calming atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation.
  • What is the interior design process?
    • Expert interior designers collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and incorporate individual style. • Innovative concepts and 3D renderings created during the schematic design phase. • Design development stage incorporates material selection, color palettes, furnishings, and accessories. • Contract documents outline project scope, specifications, and detailed drawings for seamless execution. • Project is a visual and sensory masterpiece that exceeds expectations and reflects client's unique personality.
  • What are some common mistakes people make when designing their home?
    • Wrong color choice. • Choosing rugs that are too small, making the space feel disproportionate. • Lack of lighting, creating an uncomfortable, unwelcoming atmosphere. • Not adding variety, the space will lack dimension and interest. • No focal point. A focal point adds character and cohesion. • Not considering traffic flow, resulting in a room a room that feels crowded where you can’t move about freely. • Hanging art too high, making it feel out of place.
