CLIENT'S CHALLENGE

Old, knotty pine made this bonus room/home office feel like a dungeon. The homeowner desired a bright, clean space for her home office. 

RESULTS

A couple of coats of Sherwin Williams Evergreen Fog and High Reflective White brightened this space right up. The homeowner now has a space she loves.

CLIENT'S CHALLENGE

Everything about this staircase needed help. It is the first thing you see when entering the house. Original finishes and drab color on the walls did not feel too inviting.  

RESULTS

Painting the woodwork and the risers created a bright, welcoming space. The addition of a family gallery wall gives the space life and reflects the beautiful family that lives here. 

CLIENT'S CHALLENGE

With so many windows, this family room still felt dark and drab. Oversized furniture, and too much of it, created a cramped feeling. The homeowner hoped to brighten up the space with paint and new furniture. 

RESULTS

A few coats of paint on the walls and painting the trim white turned this little room into a beautifully updated space. Using furniture appropriated scaled for the space makes it feel less crowded. The homeowner is loving this new space.

Natural materials such as bamboo, cork, sisal and wood will be used to create beautiful textures and bring the outdoors in with biophilic design. Clean lines and simple shapes will be favored over intricate decorations, while sustainable design choices will be integral to the look. There is an increased interest in creating multifunctional spaces, making the most of any space. Color palettes will draw on muted tones inspired by nature, creating a calming atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation.

A focal point adds character and cohesion. • Not considering traffic flow, resulting in a room a room that feels crowded where you can’t move about freely. • Hanging art too high, making it feel out of place.
